M. John Britto and Dr.R. Magesh

Employee engagement has come to be accepted as the emotional commitment the employee towards the organization and its goals. Emotional commitment on the part of employees can be expected only when they are able to have a sense of being engaged rather than being disengaged at work This study attempts to study the influence of employee engagement on supply chain operations among manufacturing firms in Chennai, identify the factors which influence employee engagement and study the relationship between the variables of employee engagement and supply chain operations. It cannot be denied that today supply chain management has become an integral part of business which demines its success and customer satisfaction with the ability to boost customer service, reduce operating costs and improve the financial standing of a company at large.
