Abstract

From last few years there is rapid growth in wireless telecommunication networks as compare with traditional wired telecommunication network. Now a day’s Mobile Ad-hoc Network (MANET) is one of the most useful as well as popular wireless network media. As MANETs are independent of fixed framework and base station. They are cost-effective also. There are various traditional and nature inspired routing algorithms are used for handling traffic in MANET such as DSDV, WRP, ZRP, DSR, AODV, ACO, BCO, DEO, FOG, Bird etc. Out of all these routing algorithms AODV and ACO algorithm has promising results in terms of Quality of service issues; hence we used these two algorithms in this work. The MANET is always very sensitive to various network attacks such as worm-hole, black-hole etc. apart from network sensitivity, there is another issue related with information or message security, hence we have handled security related issue by using one of the popular algorithm i.e. LSB Steganography. We have implemented our work in MATLAB, performed the simulation of the project and done the comparative analysis of different QoS parameters.
