The reaction of quickbeam (Sorbusaucuparia L.) to a set of growing conditions in the Kama industrial region of the Republic of Tatarstan has been studied. The revealed decrease in the ascorbic acid content in the leaves of quickbeam in all the cities of the Kama region industrial environment proves a decline in the activity of redox processes in the plant organism. It has been noted that during the whole vegetation period, there has been an increase in the activity of copper-containing enzymes in the quickbeam species growing in the conditions of anthropogenic load. The species-unique features of the content of ascorbic acid and copper-containing enzymes have been shown.
