In this paper we present a methodology for the solution of mixed type fuzzy transportation problem when all the cost coefficients are either trapezoidal fuzzy numbers or real numbers. A new method is proposed to solve mixed type fuzzy transportation problem without converting to its crisp equivalent form. The proposed method is illustrated with an example.
