Return on asset and the earnings per share are the indicators of the company’s profit performance in the particular financial year. The investors willing to purchase one company share only for the earnings which they are going to get in the future period. When a company is profit making, it will be ready to give the EPS to its shareholders. The investors are invest to the company based on the EPS and the return on asset which it shows in the balance sheet. In this study, fluctuations of share price after the announcement of EPS and ROA performance in 2017-2018 financial year. Selected the top three capital investment industries of India for this study.
