A study was conducted during Jan-April 2019 in Mysuru district. The purpose of the study was to obtain a comprehensive knowledge of the SHG’s in Mysuru District, with special importance to socio-economic and psychological character, income level, to the motivational factors, utilization of profit, problems faced by members and the overall benefits gained by the members from SHG’s. All the representatives were interviewed using questioners.
