Analysis of the Basic Public Administration Service Quality

Abstract

The quality of the basic public administration services carried out by the local government bureaucracy has not produced good performance yet. This situation is a result of the complexity of the problems that provide basic public administration services. Manonjaya District Office. as an institution that carries out the authority to administer basic administrative services to face unfavorable service process problems. The research method used is quantitative descriptive with a survey approach. The research population was community members who lived and spread in Manonjaya District. The research carried out based on sample research, with sampling techniques based on consideration and incidental. This study aims to analyze and describe the quality of basic public administration services which include: making identity cards, birth and death registration, arranging building permits, managing land rights, managing business licenses or other permits in Manonjaya District. The results of the study show that the quality of public services in making identity cards is not good, the reason for the service procedure is too complicated. The quality of service for birth and death registration is categorically not good, the reason is lack of information about the procedure for registration. The service quality of managing the building permit is not good, the reason is because the cost is too expensive, and the procedure is too complicated. The quality of service for the management of land rights is not good, the reason for not receiving assistance from the authorities to take care of it and the quality of service for obtaining business licenses or other permits is not good, the reason is that the procedure is complicated.
