Sales forecasting is basically the process of understanding, measuring, evaluating and estimating the future results or outcomes of a particular market or product sales of a company. Forecasting is a major aspect of every business growth cycle and must be structured attentively and meticulously. The overall purpose of this paper is to discuss the results and calculations that were generated with an efficient machine learning algorithm such as Random Forest, Extra Tree Regressor and XG Boost. These algorithms have fetched a positive result with a good accuracy and performance measure. These algorithms have been tested on Walmart dataset which is the best dataset available with all the required attributes and in compliance with our proposed methodology.
