In this paper, we propose a fuzzy transportation problem in which all parameters (supply, demand and cost) are taken as trapezoidal fuzzy numbers. The fuzzy transportation problems is solved without converting to its equivalent crisp form using magnitude ranking method and apply fuzzy arithmetic on trapezoidal fuzzy numbers to get the fuzzy transportation cost. The solution procedure is illustrated with the numerical example.
