Abstract

Dynamics of competitive positioning and firm strategic group of selected deposit money banks in Asaba, Delta State was what the study examined. The authenticated organized survey was what the instrument of research used with a 12-item point for 125 staff as well as customers of the deposit money banks in Asaba, Delta State. It revealed a strong association concerning Reserve disposal, Research and development and company strategic group in the banking sector. Going by the administered questionnaire which was 130 sets, only 125 representing 96.2% came back while 5 remained excluded. Correlation and multiple regression were the tools used for analysis. The researcher, therefore, concluded that Resource availability positively affects the firm strategic group of selected deposit money banks It was established that product performance can be improved when there is a perfect mix of capabilities and expert skills drawn from various organizations. Also, product performance can be a function of bringing strategic associations and monetary resources together. However, there are key resources that are imperceptible, and cannot be recognized easily or advance briskly. Thus the investigator endorsed that those stakeholders managing banks will have to boost the accessibility of supply because it will enable the performance of the organization to blossom.
