Performance Evaluation and Need for Development of Student Transport in Tabanan District (Case Study: Trans Serasi Student Transport)

Abstract

Purpose: to determine the level of student satisfaction with Trans Serasi student transportation services, to find out the source effort human resources (HR) that need to be done to improve Trans Serasi student transportation services and to determine the operational costs and infrastructure needs needed in the effort to develop Trans Serasi student transportation. Methodology: This study uses a quantitative approach with a qualitative approach as supporting data. data collection using questionnaires, interviews, field observations and looking for data from relevant agencies, the internet, scientific work, literature, reports, and other library materials. The level of appropriateness between service performance and expectations desired by students from 26 attributes/ questions. Data analysis uses the method Important Performance Analysis (IPA) which is processed with the help of software Microsoft Excel and SPSS for window. Findings: Level of student satisfaction with the transportation services of Trans Serasi students in Tabanan Regency is still "Less Satisfied" (95.34%). This shows that the performance of Trans Serasi student transportation services has not been able to meet the expectations of students who use the service. HR efforts that need to be done to improve the transportation services of Trans Serasi students in Tabanan Regency are to improve services that are still low. Unique contribution to theory, practice and policy: To increase student satisfaction with student transportation services in Trans Serasi, the Government of Tabanan Regency should always pay attention to five indicators of public service in order to provide professional and quality services.
