Abstract

Standard instruments which are able to identify students' creativity in solving mathematical problems are still rare to find as references. One of the most important things an instrument must possess is being in accordance with the objectives measured and meet its validity and reliability. This study aimed to describe a valid and reliable instrument design to identify students' creativity in solving mathematical problems. This was a descriptive research. The object of the research was an instrument designed by researchers. The data was obtained in the form of written statements and scores from instrument validators. The instrument assessment was carried out by three validators consisting of three lecturers. The data analysis was conducted descriptively. From this study, it was obtained instrument models that meet the requirements of validity and reliability to identify students' creativity in solving mathematical problems.
