Recycling of Polyethylene and Rubber-containing Wastes by Detonation of their Pyrolysis Products

Abstract

As part of the work the concept of detonation conversion of gaseous pyrolysis products of polymer materials and rubber-containing materials was developed. Analytical review of scientific and technical literature allowed to obtain reasonable requirements for unit of waste recycling technology by detonation of products of their pyrolysis. The main equations for the study of gas-dynamic processes during initiation and propagation of detonation in the characteristic element of the working volume are given in the paper. Results of numerical simulation of detonation combustion process of pyrolysis products of polymer materials are presented.
