Nowadays, the recycling of polyethylene and rubber-containing wastes carries a great danger, as uncontrolled incineration of these wastes entails the release of harmful substances into the environment. One solution to this problem is pyrolysis of polyethylene and rubber-containing wastes, which has been actively studied over the past decades. As part of the work, an analytical review of scientific and technical literature in the field of development of environmentally safe waste recycling technologies was carried out. Justification of the choice of the main direction of development and creation of the concept of detonation conversion of gaseous pyrolysis products and production of low-molecular weight compounds have been made.
