Abstract

In current evolving and technified world, everyone being busy, nobody wants to spend their valuable time waiting for a letter to arrive and receive it by hands. At one point of time, people need to check the post box whether they received their letter or not. Sometimes they may miss to pick the letter in the appropriate time period. In proposed method, objective is to overcome these problems by implementing IOT applications on Post Box. Classification algorithm such as Naive Bayes is also implemented to make it more efficient and accurate. The working of the model is to scan receiver name on the address label of the letter. Later on it checks whether the scanned text is present in the already available database or not. If it is available, then it immediately sends an SMS to the corresponding phone number linked to receiver name and notifies him/her that their letter has been arrived. If the name is not found in the database it is clear that the post does not belong to that person. With this module one can save time and can receive the post in a safe way without even worrying about the delivery of the post. This can be implemented in large scale by increasing the database capacity.
