The article notes that the integration of digital technologies is an important tool to increase the efficiency of geological exploration works in the oil and gas complex. It contains the formulation of the most important technological challenges of oil and gas geology. It is indicated that the integration of "big data" technologies is the most effective "Industry 4.0" tool for oil and gas geological exploration. There are examples of the use of digital technologies in geological exploration by "Gazprom Neft" and "VNIGRI". The author highlights the problems of integrating "big data" technologies in oil and gas geological exploration.
