This paper covers the comparison of 100 MLD Conventional Sewage Treatment Plant (Activated Sludge Process) and 130 MLD Automised Sewage Treatment and Reuse Plant (Sequential Batch Reactor) at Bhandewadi, Nagpur. The potency of SBR is above ASP at low price, in a less area for continuous flow and even for intermittent flow. Besides minimum time needed to provide last product, that provides a preference to SBR in choice of technology for biological treatment of waste matter.
