Abstract

The article discusses the methodological aspects of creating a system for monitoring compliance with the principles of decent work, as well as work safety and social security. The authors visually depict a combination of an international labor organization strategy and a decent living program. In addition, the economic and social effectiveness of the Decent Work Concept is outlined. The scientific significance of the article is the scientific and methodological concretization of the concept of decent work, its international standards, mechanisms for the implementation of assessment indicators at the national level, as well as the rationale for the development of indicators that make it possible to compare at the global and interstate levels and create mechanisms for monitoring compliance with them. The scientific novelty of the article is the development by the authors of indicators of groups of indicators of decent work, which include indicators such as employment and unemployment, the corresponding length of working time, equal opportunities and attitudes to work, labor safety, social security and the socioeconomic situation. Formulas for calculating decent work indicators are also proposed. The developed “Nomenclature of Decent Work Indicators in the Small Business Area” and the “Methodology for the Evaluation of Decent Work Indicators” make it possible to evaluate new jobs.
