Abstract

Cloud Computing uses the internet and remotely located servers to manage the enormous amount of data and applications. Among many services provided by the cloud, one of the important and challenging tasks is organizing and storing of data. While storing the data in cloud there may be a chance of storing many duplicate copies of same data, which leads the wastage in the storage space. In order to prevent the wastage of storage space duplicate copies are not allowed to store in the database. Anyway, the data is directly exposed to third party providers there may be loss of data privacy. So as to secure data the paper intent is instead of storing data directly, store it in the form of encrypted data. Now the task is to remove duplicate copies on encrypted data. There are many solutions to remove duplicate copies of same data but there is no solution to remove duplicate copies of encrypted data. Even though there exists a solution for removing duplicate copies on encrypted data there are various security related problems. So, in this paper the model with the help of advanced encryption standard, cryptographic hash algorithm and message-digest algorithm remove duplicate copies on encrypted data by providing secured access control.
