Abstract

The previous research has built an attendance system with a variety of methods. The researchers support that the online presence system can help in automatic recapitulation. However, many student attendance systems have not yet been applied to the framework gamification even though they are online, and there is no motivation for students to be diligent in following guidance other than the supervisor. In this paper, we propose the gamification framework in the expert system to apply gamification to the presence of the Teacher Absentee Assessment System (PenA) system as an expert system for increasing student motivation in attendance. In this research, the gamification framework used in the PenA using the waterfall method, and gamification design using rule-based. The proposed gamification framework in the PenA is in the form of a logic tree based on the gamification system. Based on the tests conducted, the gamification framework that the implementation in PenA system can run smoothly, follow rulebase by the patterns was determined, and increase the student learning motivation .
