Abstract

This paper presents a multipurpose control scheme for a Multi-utilitarian grid interactive inverters (MUGII).This control network uses d-q theory to design the MUGII controller. A new fuzzy Sliding Mode Controller (FSMC) is proposed for regulating DC bus voltage to ameliorate the dynamic pursuance and ruggedness against parameter disturbances. This FSMC uses to adjust sliding with linguistic set of fuzzy rules to obtain better response .This MUGII is connected at point of common coupling confederate to grid. A Part from active power injection the propounded control design allows the MUGII to indemnify reactive power, alleviate current harmonics meeting the power quality standards. The system was modelled and simulated in MATLAB/SIMULINK environment reveals that the transient, dynamic responses and THD of the proposed SFSMC is robust compared to sliding mode controller and conventional PI.
