The theme of the paper is to let a significant way for billing and measuring the consumed energy beside the conventional procedure. Now here a latest procedure is implemented using Arduino for detecting and managing the consumed energy. Just by sending an SMS it is viable to recharge the electricity balance through this system. The system will continuously measure the reading of energy meter and the device itself sends the updates automatically like zero balance, low balance alert, recharge alert through the GSM modem to the registered mobile number. It would be more beneficial for the customers if they able to monitor their billing system on real time basis.
