Gradient Approach for Correcting of Inconsistent Systems of Linear Equations with Block Matrices by Minimax Criterion

Le Nhat Duy
Abstract

The practice of solving applied problems (economic, technical, etc.) has shown that model complex processes and phenomena is a multi-step procedure. In this case, the initial description (mathematical model) of the object, which is a system of equations, inequalities and other relationships that relate the parameters or characteristics of the object, can be contradictory, i.e. the corresponding system may not have solutions, it may be incompatible. This inconsistency of the model can be caused by inaccurate data, excessive simplification of the actual relationships, and other reasons. Moreover, a contradictory model can be an adequate reflection of real contradictions, and methods for its correction can be a reflection of actual procedures for resolving real contradictions. In these cases, at the next steps of "debugging" the model, certain procedures are undertaken to adjust or clarify the relationship of the model and its structure. In the article refers to gradient approach to solve the problems of correction for inconsistent systems of linear algebraic equations with block matrices by minimax criterion.
