Abstract

The paper describes new checking algorithms for signal delay tracking in navigation receivers (NR) of global navigation satellite systems (GNSS), based on methods of signal reception and allowing for the improvement of tracking mode identification reliability characteristics. Using a posteriori probability of the signal estimated parameters methodology, the author has synthesized two optimal identification algorithms for the delay navigation signal tracking mode, using a different number of the NR correlators. The efficiency of the synthesized algorithms is confirmed by the statistical analysis of the right identification characteristics of the signal delay tracking mode for different values of the signal-to-noise ratio. The proposed algorithms in comparison with known identification algorithms for the signal delay tracking mode provide the gain in energy efficiency up to 14 dB for the value of the right identification probability equal to 0.9. The identification algorithms for the signal delay tracking mode developed in the paper can be used in GLONASS/GPS/GALILEO GNSS navigation equipment under the complex operating conditions.
