Abstract

The article presents methods, models, and algorithms of processing information about the required amount of vehicles at geographically distributed construction sites allowing to implement a decision-making support system for managing a large motor transport enterprise (MTE) in terms of distribution of both motor vehicles and technological vehicles on sites. Based on collecting and processing of statistical information on MTE activities, an analytical and simulation model has been developed for parameterization of time required for completion of a network diagram stage depending on used resources and also a Markov chain model of relocating transport and technological vehicles between construction sites that allow regrouping the objects in order to reduce relocation costs has been constructed. Practical significance of the developed algorithms and software of the decision-making support system for MTE management is justified by reduced downtime of vehicles, number of unplanned repairs, routes for vehicles relocation and, as a result, decreased material costs of a MTE.
