Abstract

This paper introduces the hybrid concept of the wind and solar systems combined with the Battery, which links through the DC to DC booster converter to the load. The battery system is useful in the low radiation conditions of the PV where to meet the required load and to reduce the effect of the power quality. The conventional P&O method is replaced with INC which is used to get the maximum power from the PV arrays and improve the power of the boost converter via gating signal. The power variations can be reduced by the battery energy storage system. The converters should be controlled to mitigate the load imbalance in the presence of the nonlinear loads. The converter circuits can be controlled by the PWM techniques by controlling the gate pulses values. The PI control provides the steady state power and efficiency of the hybrid model. The model is designed and evaluated in MATLAB and it is given that the output results provides the requirement to meet the desired value.
