Abstract

The number of published data on the blade cascade wind tunnel tests make it possible to evaluate the efficiency of blade cascades with different kinematic design of stages and design parameters. A generalization of these data and their practical application for the analysis of axial compressors blades cascades is presented. An appropriate computer program has been developed. It calculates velocity triangles and stage parameters on 20 radiuses along blade height of impeller and return-circuit rig. The analysis of various options for the construction of blade rows of axial compressors is made. The parameters of axial compressor stages with reaction of 1.0, 0.5, and 0.75 are compared. The advantages and disadvantages of each variant are shown. A computer program designed to optimize the axial compressor blades is presented. It can be used in the implementation of gas-dynamic projects of axial compressors in the interests of industry.
