Abstract

With a view to determine the thermal stability of the system and predict its behavior at high temperatures, the polyvinyl chloride composition was subjected to differential thermal analysis (DTA). The selection of the optimal ratio of components and the study of the properties of a composition based on PVC and a polymer plasticizer was carried out by physical and mechanical testing methods, thermomechanical studies, the gel fraction was determined in the Sechelt apparatus with tetrahydrofuran (THF) for 6 hours. The time of 6 hours was taken from the calculation that the starting PVC completely dissolves in tetrahydrofuran after 6 hours. Being guided by the task of obtaining a highstrength, thermostable and at the same time flexible polyvinyl chloride composite material, we restricted ourselves by introducing 20 parts by weight into the compositions emulsion polyvinyl chloride and 10 parts by weight polymer plasticizer. According to the tables it is with such a quantity of them have been observed increased physical and mechanical properties.
