Thin Film Preparation of Silver Nanoparticle by Homemade Spray Pyrolysis System

Abstract

Green synthesis of Silver nanoparticles were successfully achieved from AgNO3 using ficuscor data leaves extract. Spray pyrolysis technique was used for producing silver nanoparticles thin film with three different layers (1, 3 and 5 layers). Silver nanoparticles thin films with three different layers were characterized with the aid of X-ray diffraction, UV–vis absorption spectroscopy and atomic force microscopy. X-ray diffraction analysis showed that the nanoparticles were of face centered cubic structure. Absorbance data of the as-synthesized silver nanoparticles thin films were obtained using UV-Vis (Ultraviolet visible) spectroscopy at room temperature in the wavelength range of 250-900nm.The absorption coefficient, optical bandgap, refractive index and extinction coefficient, dielectric constant with imaginary and real part were experimentally measured.
