Abstract

In recent times, wireless sensor networks have used the concept of mobile agent for reducing the energy consumption and for effective data collection. In data gathering, finding the optimal itinerary planning for the mobile agent is an important step. However, single mobile agent itinerary planning approach suffers from two drawbacks, task delay and large size of mobile agent as the scale of the network is expanded. To overcome the drawbacks, the proposed technique uses multi-mobile agent (MMA) based itinerary planning for performing data aggregation (DA) in WSN. For this, the sensor nodes are grouped into number of clusters using K-means algorithm and Cluster Head is selected using firefly algorithm. However, deploying WSNs in hostile and remote environments presents security vulnerabilities that cause various security attacks on data aggregation. In this proposed methodology the black hole attack on DA can be detected using TS fuzzy model. This proposed attack detection using TS fuzzy model on MMA based DA is shortly named as MDTSF model. After attack detection, itinerary planning is done using Minimum Spanning Tree Algorithm. Then the sink dispatches the MAs to gather data from the CHs. The proposed technique is shortly named as MDTSF model. Simulation result clearly confirms that the proposed scheme performs better than other existing techniques.
