Abstract

In this document, the explanation and the comparison of Randon transform with Hough transform and Daugman's Model With Modified Fourier Descriptor Method to the identification of an iris picture from a long distance is given. For the identification of an iris picture from a long distance. There are two types of studies are utilized namely transform domain study and spatial domain study. The Randon transform and Hough transform are utilized for transform domain study for detection of lines, circles, or some other parametric turns in the iris pictures. Transformation using Randon and Hough is utilized to classify an internal pupil besides the exterior pupil of an iris picture from the edges of an iris image. In addition to this, the spatial domain study is also given in this article for detecting the corresponding peaks of an iris picture. The dataset used for these tactics is UBIRIS.v1. In MATLAB this system is implemented to perform Randon transform and Hough transforms and spatial domain study. The investigational results show this study gives good accuracy on a different dataset.
