Abstract

Chat bots are used to interact with the user in a conversation resembling that of a human. The ultimate goal of their creation was to react as a human in an interaction manner, making the user to think as they were writing to humans on the other side. It has been implemented with varying degrees of success. This research aims to provide answers to the student queries. The application is enhanced with providing response services through email, SMS and voice by implementing web services. This student chatbot is actually an integrated web based application which will be embedded into our university website, where the students can shoot their queries. This paper focuses on implementation of Naïve Bayesian classifier using python for a web-based client-side with specific usage of Machine Learning chat bots. The classifier guarantees the compliance of formed Machine Learning documents, by performing various necessary pre-processing activities for the efficient usage of the chatbot and also ensure the correctness of pattern matching of both the user input and chatbot response. Thus the user can query about the college related activities through online with the help of this web application.
