Bui Huy Khoi
Abstract

This paper set out to investigate and explain the roles of student trust (ST), student identity (SI) and student commitment (SC) in the relationship between university reputation (UR) and behavioural intention (BI). This paper presents an empirically tested model from a sample size of 1538 Vietnamese graduates. Analysis and result of the structural equation model (SEM) pointed out that the tested relationship between university reputation (UR) and behavioural intention for continuous sustainable future are positive. Eighteen of the proposed hypotheses were confirmed which includes the direct relationship of the variables, and the mediating role of SC and ST in the model. The results suggest that a reputable university can be a driving force toward students having the behavioural intention to achieve positive goals, which is not limited to the development of a sustainable environment.
