Impact of Heat and Mass Transfer within A Porous Medium Enclosed by Two Vertical Heated Plates with the Behaviour of Inclined Magnetic Field

M. Shanthi and Dr.P.T. Hemamalini
Abstract

The problem of unsteady free convective flow through a porous medium between two heated vertical plates, which are heated uniformly under the pressure gradient and inclined magnetic field, is investigated. Viscous and incompressible electrically-conducting fluid is considered and the temperature is allowed to change with time. One of the plates is assumed to be in motion with relative velocity. The transformation of variables associated with decay factor is applied in order to find the solution for the velocity field ‘u’, induced magnetic field ‘b’, temperature and concentration field, and the results are shown graphically.
