Maintenance work has become more pertinent to the organization nowadays. This paper presents a comprehensive review of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) implementation in the construction industry. The focus of the discussion is more related to the CMMS cause of failure, based on disclosed cases in order to further understand this negative phenomenon. It is hoped that the result of this discussion can shed some light on the problem by highlighting the causes and viable solutions for future improvement of successful CMMS implementation. By the end of this paper, several important and relevant recommendations are provided to prevent future failures.
