Key Generation and Encryption Using Laplace Transform for Data Security in Cloud

Abstract

Cloud storage is a service model that maintains manages and backup data remotely in logical pools. Cloud service providers should keep the data available and accessible. Users continue to disquiet about cloud security. Data Security is achieved by encryption. An enhanced Key generation and symmetric encryption techniques based on Laplace transform are implemented in the proposed system. The proposed key generation method generates a key of reduced size when compared to previously proposed Laplace transform based encryption methods. Cryptanalysis shows that proposed encryption technique prevents brute force attack, Ciphertext-only attack, and Known plain text attack.
