Free and sincere voting is the moral duty and right of every citizen. Invention of Electronic Voting Machine i.e., EVM makes it easier for voters and for the government (to some parties, of course), to cast and count the votes during election. EVM proved to be more reliable than a ballot paper voting system since biometric identifiers cannot be easily misplaced, forged, or shared, so the chances of any fraud is decreased drastically. This paper focuses on evaluatingthe reliability ofan EVM and VVPAT taking into consideration its components, their arrangement and working.
