A picture recognition device, sgraffito automaton for Oxide pictures has been introduced in this paper. The deterministic sgraffito automaton is a computing device that allows a simple design of computations. Comparative results of sgraffito automaton for Oxide pictures with Oxide Tiling system have also been explored here.
