Cloud computing is an environment where services are delivered to users as pay-per use. Scheduling task is one of the issues in cloud computing. The tasks can be scheduled based on different parameters to achieve Quality of Service (QoS). In this paper we proposed an algorithm Cloud Cost and Deadline Model (CCDM) to schedule independent tasks to available resources using cost and deadline as parameters. The algorithm is compared with existing algorithms like cloud pricing model and cost based tasks scheduling algorithm. The algorithm is simulated in Cloudsim and found the improvement in makespan, throughput and resource utilization.
